Dynamic Discs Team Member Review
“No putter on the market combines the ability to handle high speeds without fading like a Judge. If you’re looking for a putter you can get behind and rip off of the tee without worrying about any late fade, the Judge is your disc.”

Dynamic Discs Judge

Why was the Judge named the 2013 Disc of the Year in the Player’s Choice Awards? It is incredibly predictable in flying and hitting the chains. It is a fantastic throwing putter that will fly straight and glide for amazing distances. It comes in 7 different plastics so that your preferred feel is available in this disc. Come see why this disc has become so popular and judged other, more well-known discs, to be insufficient.

I like this putter for longer putts as it has plenty of glide. I use the Classic Super Soft and it is a very flexible disc. Stops dead when it hits something. I feel that I have less control for shorter putts because of the “floppiness”. Because of this, my Gateway Wizard is my preferred short range putter. It is much more accurate and controllable.

Prime Judge is my putting putter. Most of them have a nice, slightly tacky feel. On a soft touch putt, hey have just a little touch of late fade that you can rely on it. If you give it a bit more torque it’s straight.

Also have a Fuzion one that I throw off the tee. It can be a bit touchy, but on a good throw will fly straight for 250 ft and then set down softly.

It took me a while to find the (Prime) Judge, but once I did, I knew it was the putter for me. I was putting pure white wizards (by Gateway) but I eventually found it a little too overstable as my most common miss was low. The judge has a very similar feel in the hand but has that bit of extra glide that carries my putt to the chains. I don’t put a huge amount of spin on my putts so the added glide and carry is very valuable to me. I also use a (lucid) judge as a throwing putter. It can handle some torque on a hyzer flip and gets to flat and flies straight with little to no fade when thrown with some power.

It’s clear to me why Judges are so popular.
